What will my results be?

On average, each CoolSculpting procedure results in a 20-25% reduction of fat in the treated area. After the initial treatment cycle is complete, you can attain further reductions with additional procedures. However, some patients find that one treatment fully addresses their goals.  Dr. Soto will discuss and design a plan that suits you best!

When will I see results?

You may start to see changes as quickly as 3 weeks after your treatment, and should experience the final results after about 2 months. Your body will continue flushing fat cells for up to 6 months.

Are the results permanent?

Yes. When you have your CoolSculpting procedure, the treated fat cells will be eliminated. As long as you maintain your weight with diet and exercise, your long term results should remain stable.

What happens during the procedure?

First, Dr. Armando Soto will position the device on the selected area(s) to be teated.  The device will then gently draw the fat pocket up in between two cooling panels. The sensation is a firm pull - enough of a pull to ensure the tissue will be cooled most efficiently.

What does it feel like?

When using the small applicator, the panels go to work in the first few minutes, you’ll feel a moderately cold sensation. This soon dissipates. Because it is relatively painless, and because you’re seated or lying down during procedure, the treatment is very comfortable. Many people spend this time reading, working on their laptop, or even taking a nap!

When using the new hand piece, it is possible to treat a larger area in less time. However, a few patients have experienced moderate discomfort that can easily be controlled with mild pain medication.

Can I return to normal activities after my procedure?

Yes! The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-invasive, so you can return to normal activities immediately. Some patients experience redness, minor bruising, tingling or numbness in the treated area, but this is only temporary.
